How to do it

One video, about a minute of waiting, and the page is ready.

  1. Outside, then in

Start at the curb. Walk the exterior, then every room, then the utility spaces.

  2. Say the condition

"Slow drip under the kitchen sink." "Loose latch, bedroom three."

  3. It reads the plates

Water heater and furnace labels, appliance model plates and notices are copied out.

  4. Issues-first report

Say "make an inspection summary with the issues first" and share the page by private link.

Tips

  • Keep one capture per visit, so each inspection is dated.
  • Get close to every label: water heater, furnace, panel, appliances.
  • Hosts: film after cleaning and before the next guest arrives.

Where it stops

  • It is not a licensed home inspection, and there are no inspector templates or signatures.
  • It describes what's visible. It won't judge safety or code compliance.
  • For a sale, hire an inspector. Use this for your own record and questions.
