Delete your account and data
You can delete your Simple Capture account and everything in it at any time.
In the app
- Open Simple Capture and go to your captures (tap the thumbnail next to the red button).
- Tap the settings icon in the top corner.
- Tap Delete account and data (or Delete all my data if you haven't signed in), then confirm.
Without the app
Email hello@simplecapture.app from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm within 7 days.
What gets deleted
Every capture and its photos, videos and recordings; everything made from them (stories, transcripts, images, summaries, answers); the voices you saved; your conversations with your assistant and what it remembers; your settings; and your account.
What we keep
A minimal record of credits used and costs, with no content, for billing and to prevent abuse of free credits. Purchase records held by Apple, Google or Stripe follow their policies.
